Brownell is dean of Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy and a professor of public policy, psychology and neuroscience, and psychiatry and behavioral sciences. He can discuss food labeling and taxing, health behavior and related food policy topics. In 2006 TIME magazine listed Brownell among “The World’s 100 Most Influential People” in its special TIME 100 issue featuring those “… whose power, talent or moral example is transforming the world.”
